Wohoo…I’m back from Malaysia!! Wishing everyone Happy “牛” year..
Went back to Malaysia for 5 continuous day and this year is the longest stay ever.
This time round the spirit of celebrating is different as compared to last time, having less one family member. He usually will puff a cigarette and waits for the return for his daughters & grandchildren, purchased all sort of fire crackers for the kids and happily giving out red packers .The room will always be filled by his laughter. But this year, no one is waiting for us any more, no sights of the kids playing fire crackers, not much laughter can be heard, no more of him giving red packet. There’s really a big different for this year Chinese new year. But glad that everyone is still coming back for this gathering that happen once a year.
Guess my dad is the only one that happily celebrating New Year. Keep on introducing the new house and inviting people to the house. The house in Malaysia is a good place for relaxation and gathering. Red packets collected for this year have also been shrink, and as usually all are in ringgit$$ -_-!
